Hey, I’m Emily Wold, your voiceover coach.

In terms of coaching actors, I’ve been there. I’ve already fought the good fight of leaving behind the starving artist trope. Now, I’m joyfully fighting for a life I love on my own terms & in my own time.

I became a big player in the VO game fast. Many industry folks will naysay this work & expound on what a slog it is. Is there hard work & does it take time? Yeah, you bet. But if you’ve got the skills & the drive to compete, the opportunity is unmatched.

Finally, know this: I’m rooting for you. Sometimes all it takes to get past your own limitations is a sharp eye & an encouraging word. I’ve got those things on lock, & you’ll get ‘em both in FH Coaching.

FAQ

  • 100%, yes. I’ve coached folks who are saving up to buy their first microphone, as well as folks who are already making the rounds as successful voiceover actors. I’ll shoot you straight about where you’re at, & together we can decide if FH Coaching is a good fit for you.

  • 8 weeks.

  • So glad you asked. The world of voiceover has changed dramatically in the last three years. It’s not enough anymore to be “the talent” - you’ve got to be a multi-modal creative if you want this work to reach its full potential. That means kickass VO skills, a thorough understanding of media buying, audio engineering tips & tricks, & a workflow that’s sustainable long term.

  • That varies greatly depending on the actor, how many auditions they do, & what types of castings they choose to employ. Each of those things is openly discussed in FH Coaching.

  • That all depends on your skills, your commitment, & your diligence. But as someone who’s applied all three of those to my career, the numbers can get pretty wild.

  • A good voice alone does not a voiceover career make. If you’ve got great pipes, that’s awesome. But it takes a lot more than a pleasant tone to book with consistency & longevity. There’s a host of skills required, & we work on all of them in FH Coaching.

  • $2500 pay in full, or two monthly payments of $1425.

  • Yep. It pushes you toward the best possible result. Longer-term coaching, in my experience as both a coach & a student, is where it’s at.
